In 2016, it began with a simple idea: combine a love for the outdoors with a deep connection to the local community. Jason Medina, a Destin native and retired U.S. Coast Guard officer, dreamed of building a business that brought people outside, into nature, and into motion.
Together with his wife, Emily, the couple opened Pedego 30A—South Walton’s very first and only all-electric bike shop. As the e-bike industry grew and their passion for adventure expanded, so did their vision. From that evolution, Eventure Florida was born: a bold new chapter rooted in the same commitment to fun, freedom, and local flavor.
Today, Jason is joined by longtime friend and fellow Destin native, Matt Cassidy—a natural-born waterman and avid surfer. With Matt’s love for the water and Jason’s drive for the open road, they’re bringing you the best of surf and turf—electric bikes, paddleboards, tours, and gear to help you experience adventure like never before.
